Aiya has a network of more than 200 farmers, yet only a few achieve this premium quality tea - containing the highest amount of L-Theanine (amino acids) in Aiya Matcha product line.

The best and highest grade of Matcha currently offered by Aiya, Premium Matcha provides a level of quality comparable to tea served in high-class Japanese tea ceremonies. Though this grade is usually served as "Koi-cha" or thick tea, it can also be enjoyed as "Usu-cha" or thin tea. With a natural sweetness and umami flavor, Premium Matcha contains the highest amount of L-Theanine amino acids in Aiya’s product line – a true rare treat.

USAGE

Add 2 bamboo scoops (1/2 tsp.) into a tea bowl. Add 3oz. of hot water (180F). Whisk Matcha with a bamboo whisk or hand mixer until smooth and frothy. Proportions may be adjusted to taste.
